What is Rohu Fish Called in the USA?

As of now, there is no such name for Rohu fish that can be called in the USA.

Let me tell you about this interesting fish story from my time in the USA!

I’m searching for “Rohu Fish” in the supermarket but can’t find it. Because they do have not such a name, especially for the USA.

Instead, I discovered that they’re just grouped under the category of river fish or river-water fish over there.

But here’s the kicker – I saw some of the Rohu fish while I was exploring Lake Mead near the Hoover Dam. They were huge!

Picture this: A calm lake, a beautiful sunset, and big, amazing fish swimming gracefully.

I was so amazed by their beauty that I couldn’t look away, even though the sun was going down quickly. It was one of those times when you wish time would stop so you could enjoy the moment forever.

Now, here’s a fun fact for you: the Sanskrit word “rohisha” refers to both a type of fish and a type of deer. Isn’t that fascinating how languages connect different parts of nature?

Anyway, seeing those Rohu fish in Lake Mead was a highlight of my trip, and it left me with a newfound appreciation for the wonders of nature, no matter where you are in the world.
